Site Survey
We will undertake a site survey prior to installing equipment to ensure that our engineers can carry out a successful installation. Our surveyor will require authorised access to all relevant rooms.
Installation Times
Standard installation times are between 08.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday. Installations required outside of this time may incur extra charges. We experience a higher level of demand during the school holidays!
Site Access
We will require uninterrupted access to the relevant installation environment(s) between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00. There should not be any restrictions placed on the use of power tools or noisy works.
Electrical Installation
All electrical works undertaken by Sensory Guru will be carried out by fully qualified and experienced electricians. If electrical work is required, we will submit an electrical installation requirements plan as part of our quotation.
Delivery
Occasionally it is necessary to have items and goods delivered direct to the site. Where this is necessary goods should be stored in a safe, dry place, and remain unopened until our engineers arrive.
Trunking & Conduit
Where possible, cables will be housed in surface mounted trunking. Wiring for new build projects can be integrated into the fabric of the building. We are happy to liaise with architects and electrical contractors to ensure data cables are hidden.
Making Good & Packaging
Removal and disposal of waste materials arising from the installation is the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed. Exempting the above, Sensory Guru's installation engineers will, where possible, endeavour to return all rooms back to their original state prior to installation.
Handover & Sign Off
The customer must be available to sign-off the installation on completion of works. It is the customer's responsibility to check over the installation before signing. The Customer must report any snagging issues at the time of handover. Sensory Guru will endeavour to resolve all issues found within two weeks of completion.
